Account security is fit3's top priority. Every time you log in to the fit3 platform, multiple layers of security work in the background to ensure that only you — the legitimate account owner — can gain access. This is not merely a marketing tagline; it is a technical infrastructure we continuously invest in to protect over 500,000 Malaysian members.

First and most fundamentally: all traffic between your device and fit3's servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS 256-bit – the same level of protection used by Maybank and CIMB for their internet banking. This means no one – not even your internet service provider – can read or intercept your login data while it's in transit.

Your password is never stored in plain text in the fit3 database. We use strong one-way cryptographic hashing to store passwords – meaning that even in the unlikely event our system were ever compromised, an attacker would be unable to retrieve your original password from the stored records.

The fit3 system also actively monitors every login attempt. After five consecutive failed login attempts, your account will be automatically locked for 15 minutes as a protective measure against brute-force attacks. You will be notified via SMS to your registered Malaysian phone number when this occurs.

Fit3 also provides Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) which can be enabled in your account settings. Once 2FA is active, every login requires two things: your password AND an OTP sent to your registered Malaysian mobile number. Even if someone manages to obtain your password, they won't be able to log in without your physical phone. We recommend all fit3 members enable 2FA – it's free and dramatically enhances the security of your account.

If you log in from a new device or a location you have never used before, fit3's system will automatically send a notification to your registered email address and phone number as a security alert. If you do not recognise the login activity, you can immediately terminate all active sessions and change your password through the secure reset process.

One important note: fit3 will never contact you through any channel to ask for your password, OTP codes or payment information. If you receive any communication claiming to be from fit3 and requesting such sensitive information, it is a fraudulent attempt.
